Seminar July 19th Raleigh NC
Join us for this seminar as we dive into two core principles of SBL: ground mobility and footwork.
Kucing (Cat Stance):
Kucing, or the cat stance, serves as the foundational ground position in SBL. It acts as the central link between all other postures. Mastery of Kucing and its transitions enhances everything—strikes, locks, escapes, and transitions to an upright stance.
Footwork as an Offensive Tool:
Footwork is one of the defining features of Southeast Asian martial arts. While many combat styles use footwork to achieve optimal positioning, Silat takes it a step further, employing footwork as a powerful offensive technique in its own right.
